September 2007 : Books I read

"There are two lasting bequests we can give our children. One is roots. The other is wings."
Since I acknowledge about my pregnancy, I try to behave myself 555. I mean, changing my routine, my diet and my habit in order to accommodate my baby and also enjoy my 40 weeks journey.

Reading is one of my favorite, actually it becomes part of my routine. I read several hour a day, everyday 555. Here has a very very good and large selection of books, newsletters, journals, magazines, only for the pregnancy alone is too many.

Just to name a few that I would recommend expectant mom;

- What to expect, when you're expecting / Heidi Murkoff, Arlene Eisenberg & Sandee Hathsway B.S.N.
- Body, soul and baby : a doctor's guide to the complete pregnancy experience, from preconception to postpartum / Tracy W. Gaudet M.D.
-
Dadditude : how a real man became a real dad / Philip Lerman.
-
The making of a mother : overcoming the nine key challenges from crib to empty nest / Valerie Davis Raskin.
- Mayo Clinic guide to a healthy pregnancy / Harms, Roger W.
- From conception to birth : a life unfolds 1st ed. / Tsiaras, Alexander.
- Prenatal parenting : the complete psychological and spiritual guide to loving your unborn child / Wirth, Frederick.
- And a baby make three
- Expecting dad
- Secret of the baby whisperer

And for some reason, I was recommended by almost every mom I talked to that I SHOULD read to my baby. And the only book I can find for this purpose is "Oh baby! the place you'll go in the utero", by Dr. Seuss. Quite good book actually, full of imagination ( which I doubt that my baby would get it). Anyway, as a first time mom, I seem to be obsess about the rave reviews of any kind of baby products. Good excuse!

PP tease me to get BA in childcare 555, may be WHO KNOWS?
